My passion as a filmmaker comes from a lifelong obsession with making things. As a carpenter’s son, I’ve had a front row seat at seeing how raw materials and an idea could be combined to make something both useful and beautiful. Early in my career, I was shaping stories as an editor. Over time, I found a greater passion and skill for cinematography and directing. All of these experiences give me a unique edge and perspective on the filmmaking process, using story and imagery to move audiences.
